An app for life after a stroke
Reminders that remember for you
PatchMyMind helps people remember medicine, appointments and everyday tasks. It shows one thing at a time, keeps ringing until answered, and lets loved ones help from afar.
How it works
- 1
Say it once, then forget
Tap the microphone and say what and when: “every day at 8 pm evening medicine”. That’s all.
- 2
The phone remembers
At the right time the phone rings – even when the app is closed – and shows only this one task.
- 3
Answer with one tap
“Done” marks it in the diary. “Remind me later” brings it back in a few minutes. Until then, it keeps asking.
Made for a recovering brain
One thing at a time
The “Now” screen answers a single question: what should I do now? No long lists that overwhelm.
Reminders that don’t give up
The phone rings, vibrates and can read aloud until it hears “Done” or “Remind me later”.
Speak instead of type
“At 3 pm doctor”, “in 20 minutes medicine” – the app understands the time itself. No small fields to fill in.
A caregiver, from anywhere
A loved one sees the tasks live, can add them, and with one button can make the phone ring straight away.
A voice diary
Short notes with the time, recorded by voice. It’s easy to answer “what did I do today?” – for me, my family and my doctors.
Works offline
Tasks are kept on the phone and sent later. Large buttons, high contrast and plain words throughout.
Made by someone who had a stroke
After coming home from hospital, the simplest things became hard: remembering medicine, keeping track of the day, knowing what I had already done. Ordinary phone reminders were easy to miss. I built PatchMyMind for myself first – and now it’s for anyone who needs this kind of help.

Frequently asked questions
Who is PatchMyMind for?
For people recovering from a stroke and anyone who finds it hard to remember medicine, appointments and daily tasks – and for their families and caregivers.
Is it free?
Yes. PatchMyMind is a non-commercial project made by a stroke survivor. There are no ads and no paid features.
Do I need to install anything from an app store?
No. PatchMyMind runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen of any iPhone or Android phone, just like a regular app.
Will a reminder ring when the app is closed?
Yes, thanks to push notifications. On an iPhone, first add PatchMyMind to the home screen (iOS 16.4 or newer).
How does the caregiver feature work?
The patient invites a loved one with a link. The caregiver sees the day’s tasks, can add and change them, and gets a notification when a reminder goes unanswered.
What languages does the app speak?
The app itself currently speaks Polish. English is coming next – this website is already available in both languages.
Is my data safe?
Data is kept on our own server and is never sold or shared. Only the user and the caregivers they invite can see it.
